I have just started on the Reape family and know very little. I would love to see William Reape's will if you have a copy of it. I think the immigrant William is the son of a William in England; that he married Sarah (?) in 1661 in Newport and had children Sarah (17 Apr 1661) and William (31 Dec 1667) before dying on 6 Aug 1670 (buried in the Clifton Burying Ground in Newport).

Since William was older when he married Sarah (32-33), there may be another family. William seems to be a very popular name in the family in America and England, so it can be assumed there is a family significance to it.

I would be interested in anything you have on this family, along with supporting documents if possible. We are related to William through Sarah who married William Brinley, son of Francis and Hannah Carr Brinley/Brimley.
