Seeking info about the origin and parentage of MARIA MAGDALENA SAUTER, b. in Moerschwil, Sankt Gallen, Switzerland, who m. JOHANN MICHEL ZIMMERMAN of New Goshenhoppen, Montgomery Co., Pennsylvania, in 1756. Most Ancestry trees (and there are many) have her as dau. of JACOB SAUTER, but since he would have been four years old at the time of her birth, and his wife wasn't even born yet, I doubt if they were her parents. I suspect she was dau. of MICHEL SAUTER, who imm. in 1750. Does anyone have any info about MAGDALENA SAUTER's family that doesn't include JACOB? Thanks for any and all help. -- Kathleen
