Hello. I saw you, too, are interested in the origin of the Kelly Memorial
Park
in
Bolivar
. What is your connection? I had Kelly ancestors who came to
Bolivar
in the early 1850's and they had 7 children born in
Bolivar

The
Bolivar
centennial book mentions the area was known as "Kelly Field" for the Kelly family who lived there. If I remember correctly, I believe the book also has a picture of their house.

The book was published around 1965. I looked at it at my grandparents old house about 30 years ago. No telling where it is now or who has it.
