I am not sure. I think that my 3rd greatgrandfather's (John T Kennedy 1812-1896, not to be confused with other John Kennedy's in the area at the same time) mother, Catherine, may have been living at the residence of Eli Shearer in 1860 but I have no way of proving that it is actually her.
The problem is that these connections go back to prior to 1800 and the records in Westmoreland Co are very poor in that period.
