I cannot help you with that time frame but I am trying to find information on Martin Durscheimer or Dershimer who's Grandson William Sox lived in Wayne County (probably South Canaan) in the early 1800's. Martin was married to a Catherine ______ and had a daughter named Maryaretha Dershimer who married a George Sox before 1777. William Sox was born in either NY or PA on 20 October 1778. William Sox's daughter Mary Sox married Conrad Fredrick Enslen 29 Feb 1824 in South Canaan, Wayne County. Conrad is my Great Great Grandfather. Also, do you know anyone with information about George Enslin, (b: about 1766 and married Catherine Kete Swingly about 1792 in Wayne County, PA) a blacksmith and farmer who immigrated from Germany and was one of the early settlers of South Canaan, Wayne County, PA. If you have any information please write. My email address is al@enslen.net. Thanks.
