I am the 5x great granddaughter of Martin Dorshimer, descended through his first son Manuel. I have been trying to make a connection to a Jacob Enslen (whose daughter married Manuel's grandson Samuel Dershimer)in Meridien Pa. Jacob's tombstone in the cemetery there gives his date of death as 1845 and birth calculated to be about 1783-4. In the book of descendents of Manuel Dorshimer, a George Enslen and his wife Catherine were god-parents to one of his daughters. I can't help but think there is a connection there but have so far been unable to verify it. Any Enslen information would be greately apperciated.
