Classification: Query
Surnames: MILLS, BAILEY, DRIVER, SAMPLE
I am told that a Lieutenant Jacob Mills was listed in the Washington Co., PA Militia, Second Battalion, Fifth Company in 1784 as was a Captain Elijah Mills.
Also in 1784 and 1785 - found on the Assessment Roll of Morgan Twp., Washington Co., PA were a Jacob Mills, Joseph Mills, Josiah Mills, John Mills, and Elijah Mills.
Is anyone researching any of the above MILLS males who were in Washington Co., PA during the Revolutionary War Years - 1776 to 1785??

Then in 1787 Jacob Mills family and Elijah Mills were both among the Benjamin Stites Expedition - original body of Pioneers, who left Washington Co., PA and settled in Columbia, Hamilton Co., Ohio.
I would appreciate any information on the two MILLS males, Jacob and Elijha, who migrated from PA to Ohio.
Thanks, Judy Mills Boie - Minnesota
