I am looking for information on the Stannard Family of Russell, Warren Co., PA; specifically any information on Spencer Stannard, son of Alvin Stannard who moved to Alamond, MI. Other siblings are Charles, Pomeroy, Charlotte, Laura, Rosette, and Nancy M.

I believe that Alvin was married first to a Harriet Lamphier and later to a woman named Nancy. Does anyone have any information on this marriage. They had a daughter Nancy M.

I'm trying to fill in the holes I have in my research. I would appreciate any information.

Sincerely,

Jessica Franks
Need obit or any other information for Clinton Wilbur Brown b 12 Apr 1887 in Pike Twp., Potter Co., PA. He lived in North Warren, Warren Co., PA, from at least 1900 thru 1942; he worked at the Warren State Hospital as an attendant. He was in WWI from Warren; also his draft card for WWII lists his address as North Warren. It appears he married Edith?? c 1923. Apparently something happened, death, divorce?, as in 1942 he shows Edith Chamberlin of Sayre, Bradford Co., PA, as the person who would always know where he resided. He died on 26 Jun 1955 and is buried in Potter Co., PA.

Looking for additional information on Edward Arters and his wife Clara Thomas.

Here what I know: Edward was born in September 1880 in Kansas, and Clara was born in 1883 in Canada. According to the 1910 US Census of Tidioute, Warren County, Pennsylvania, they were married in circa 1905 and the parents of 2 sons: Edward age 3 and Wayne age 1 on 25 April 1910. The census also showed Edward working as a grinder in a cutlery factory.

•	What I am very interested in learning was when Edward and Clara died?
•	Where are they buried?

Thank you i advance for your help.
I am trying to figure out what cemetery Mercy M Camp is buried in. She last appears in the 1930 census living in Youngsville with her daughter, Verna. Better yet, would be info from death records. Mercy was born in 1837, so my guess is she dies within a couple of years of 1930. Her husband was Norton Camp who preceded her in death.

Jessie was the widow of Dr. Willis O. Gilson. Sometime during the Fall of 1897, or shortly after, she moved from Spring Creek to Warren. The 1900 census shows her married to Peter Peterson. By 1903 she was living in Rochester, NY as Mrs. Jessie Baker Gilson. This suggests either (a) a divorce or that (b) Peterson died. Any information would be appreciated.

Hi Janette, I went on a little road trip this weekend to visit my cousin who lives in russell in warren county. I did some cemetery hopping and took some pictures of the people in your family tree's burial places. Feel free to attach them to your tree if you like. I figure if I research all the florence mead's that lived in warren at the time my grandma was born that I'm bound to stumble onto the right one.

Thanks Janette, I've been looking at them on your tree. We know the birth was in warren county, and the adoption was in butler county which was the courthouse closest to my adopted great grandparents. I did a research request at warren county courthouse but that florence seems to have dropped off the face of the earth they weren't able to find anything on her...Which may or may not have had something to do with giving a baby up for adoption in 1923. Can you imagine the ramifications of that? Wow. Anyway...if you happen to come upon more information about that branch of the family let me know. Thanks so much for your help.

None of those names are familiar to me nor do I have any in my family tree from that area. In looking at census records, there were a number of Kilpatrick and Kirkpatrick families that lived in Crawford County, Pennsylvania. As I mentioned, I currently don't know the maiden names for Theodore's wives Eurette and Belle and I can find very little on his son Earl. His family primarily lived around Spartansburg in Crawford County and Eldred in neighboring Warren County.

Simons and Green families are also numerous in Crawford County but not Greatorex or Greens (with a "s"). As for the Bradleys, most of mine lived in either Erie County, Pennsylvania or Chautauqua County, New York. Many of them are buried in cemeteries throughout southern Chautauqua County. Theodore's family would be an exception. His is most likely buried around Spartansburg.

I am searching for the mother of Jefferson John Marsh, born Apr 11, 1864.

He is listed in the 1870 census as the son of Thomas and Mary. He was 7ish at the time and they were 69 and 70. I believe that they were probably his grandparents, since we know that he was raised by his grandparents.

There is also a Nora listed as age 12 and a Robert Morse age 20.

I know that Jefferson was born out of wedlock and that through correspondance between his dad and himself in the early 1900's that his father was JC Dinsmoor.

Thomas and Mary had 2 daughters, Betsey and Nancy. I have been able to finally trace Betsey but have ended up with deadends with Nancy. also for Nancy, there is a discrepancy with ages between the 1850 and 1860 census. The first one lists her as 13 years old and the second one as 19.

Anyone with leads or info please step forward!

Seeking information on the husband of Susan Stover Biery/Beery (1857-1943). He apparently died in a sawmill fire in Clarendon about 1889 where Susan was also a cook. Their two sons, were taken in by neighboring families: Claude by Paul & Lottie Horning and George by Charles & Cora Ramsey. Their sister, Alice, may have stayed with her mother Susan Biery/Beery until her own marriage to James Thompson in 1894. Alice's obituary states her father's name was Henry Biery, but I can find no plausible record for him. There is a George Beery (occupation sawyer) with a Susan and daughter Alice in the 1880 census for Warren County. Would appreciate any clues regarding this man.

I was able to receive my ancestor's hospital records; dating from appx 1900 until her death in 1927. She was admitted in 1883, I didn't receive the records from 1883 to 1900. Included in the records were twice yearly exams-typed,her autopsy results and correspondence from my ancestor's daughter and her basic admission records. I think that the record keeping improved around 1900 or so. It took several requests over several years to obtain them, at first I was told there weren't any records. A very kind historian with the hospital kept looking for them.

The records were profoundly sad to read. The cemetary at the hospital has been revitalized; now my ancestor has a nice large headstone with her full name, year of birth and year of death.
Good luck in you search!
