making reference of the Chambers & Gibson family of Tidioute, Pittsfield, Deerfield, Warren county, Pa. that Ellen "or Eleanor" Gibson married James Marquis Thompson and resided in Kossuth (hamlet of Bolivar, NY). Ellen & James M. Thompson's 3 daughters named below: Mrs. Lillian (Bert) Richardson, Mrs. Jennie (Lester N.) Shaner, and Mrs. Mary (William) Wetherby.
Also the Mrs. Vern Monroe is the daughter in-law of Mrs. James M. Thompson (former Mrs. Isabel Monroe.) newspaper improperly indicated daughter of Mrs. Vern Monroe. - eventually Lilly and Bert Richardson would leave Eldred, Pa. and once again return as they were former residents of Bolivar and lived on Shaner Hill until their deaths. Ellen Gibson Thompson died in 1890 so to have any reference to family relationship is minimal. What really shed light to start with when the Chambers - Gibson family reunions occurred in which Bert Richardson and some Shaner children were present/ mentioned in later newspaper archives at these reunions.
