Obit Abstract

William Little Scriven, 82, died Monday at his home on Patchel Run. He was born March 11, 1841 in Crawford County, PA, but lived most of his life in Sugarcreek Twp. and vicinity where he followed farming and pumping oil wells.
Mr. Scriven was a member of the ME Church at Sugarcreek. Surviving him are his widow and the following children:

Mrs. Wilminah Collingwood of Nebraska
Levi Scriven of Oklahoma
Chauncey Scriven of Franklin
Earl and Thomas at home
Mrs. Elmer Gardner of Oil City
Miss Zena Scriven of Franklin
Mrs. William Wright
William, Jr. at home
Also 1 brother, Joseph Scriven and 1 sister, Mrs. Hattie Carnahan of Missouri. Interment in Sugarcreek.
