I have info on some of the people in this line. My husband descends from Robert Richart and his first wife Catherine Smith who died in Mt. Bethel, Northampton Co., PA where this Richart line came from. Robert's 2nd wife was Elizabeth Robbins. Robert Richart died in 1808 in Greenwood, Northumberland Co., PA (it became Columbia Co. in 1813).
I don't know where Zebulon Richart is connected to this line, but I feel that he is. Didn't Zebulon Richart live in Lycoming Co. as did some other Richarts? I have my husband's direct line, but have holes as to the families of Robert's siblings and half siblings. Please contact me. I have bits and pieces on the Columbia Co. Richarts and the Lycoming Co Richarts. As far back as I have gotten, the name is RICHART, not Reichard or Reichert. I do not think they were German. The first one settled in Mt. Bethel, which was mostly Irish.
