Would like to exchange information concerning the KRETCHMAN surname.

I have the Jacob Kretschman family in Whitehall Twp., now Lehigh Co. in the late 1700's. Am trying the find all 8 children later in life and believe two of the sons to have gone to Somerset Co., Elk Lick Twp.

I am researching my great great grandparents, Charley Herman and Paulena Long Kretchman. He was born in Germany in Mar 1856 and died in Tennessee in 1907. She was born in Germany in Feb 1848. She died July 18, 1928 in the Cleveland State Hospital in Cleveland Ohio. They came to the US in 1872. Their children were Bertha, Lena, Floira, and Charley Herman. Do you have any info on them? I know that Lena was born in Michigan, Flora in Ohio, Charlie in Tennessee. Flora was born Feb 1884, Lena July 1880, Charlie Feb 1886. Lena had a son but was not married. His name was Floid Jan 1895.

Would like to correspond with you concerning the children of Jacob Kretchman from Whitehall Twp. I have a Henry Kretchman b. about 1790 in Whitehall Twp, Lehigh Co. He is buried on his family farm in Salisbury, PA. Would like information on the sibblings of Henry. I don't know the other Kretchman who may have gone to Somerset Co. PA
