My adopted grandparents lived in Central City PA with my mother in 1920. I believe they came to Windber PA from NYC in 1907 & 1909 via NYC. I know the date of my grandparents death, but could not find a death certificate for them. Has anyone ever heard of Joseph & Josephine Stanislawek? They lived in the area until they died in 1961 & 1962. My mother used the surname Stiney when she went to Shade Township High School, so they may have changed their names.
