I'm trying to find out what happened to a relative of mine called Gordon Ainslie Hird. He was born on November 5th 1885 Urswick, England to Henry Bearpark Hird and Margaret Pattinson. He arrived in the states in 1893 and I have found him in the 1900 census living in Fell lackawanna and 1910 living in Jenner Somerset. The next record I can find is the 1942 draft where he is living at Boswell Pa Road 2 (jenner two somerset pa). Person listed as knowing him is Mrs Lilian Hird (poss wife??).He works for consolidation coal co. Would love to know what happened to him if any body has access to records / grave yards etc in this region.
