If Peter Hoffman and his wife were Roman Catholic, there church marriage records should still exist. If the church closed in Butler the records may be at another chruch in Schuylkill Co. Ask the HSSC if they know, if not try any R.C. chuch in Schuylkill Co. they should be able to direct you. As far as other churches, the society should be able to help.
