I think you mean Barger, as Ned Pa, was on Barger land of my family, and my father's grandfather Flaherty bought it from his Barger cousins, have a Laura Williams living descendent can help you out too, as John Barger is a brother of Jane Barger who is my gr-great grandmother, we are searching for, and I too looking for Ned, Pa, a one time general merchandice store, my Francis, or Frank M. Flaherty had as P.O. named Ned, after his cousin Ned Barger, land of the also house he built, and after death Ned actually is listed on the map as town, or place of living, now, and as a general merchandice store after Francis M. or Frank M. Flaherty died, it was bought by a Burns Lemley, another family member, then sold to recently out of the family, and still I ned also find exact location, so try lauracw@home.com

as soundex problably using. Real name in census is Barger
and Irish Barger's, not German Barger's has a site too.

I am very sure of the spelling Peter or John Burgar. I had been told that both these names appeared in the book "Pennsulvania Land Applicatins Vol. 1" and was just trying to confirm the location as Surry county in PA.Any information as to their where abouts after the U.S. War of Independance would be appreaciated.
