I am trying to locate any record of Isaac Shubert who lived in Philadelphia in the 1700s. He supposedly fought in the Revolutionary War--I am not sure if he survived or was a casualty. According to family memorabilia, he had a shon named William Shubert who was married to Hannah Edwards Shubert. His son was George A. Shubert.
From census records, I have traced our family tree back to George A. Shubert. I have also found an 1850 census record for William and Hannah Shubert in Philadelphia, but it does not list their children's names since they were grown by then.
I would appreciate any help in locating the shubert line back to Isaac. I believe Isaac had at least 4 sons--George, William, Alphonso, and William.
