Bessie Marian Cherry Pierce was born 16 Aug 1928 in Askewville, North Carolina, and passed away 1 Jun 2012 in Meadowbrook, Pennsylvania. She was mother to two children, Alannia Aliza Elizabeth Michael of Elfrida, Arizona, and Tonia Maria Savior of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is survived by two siblings, Fanny Elizabeth Manning of Glassboro, New Jersey, and Philip Cherry of Clearwater, Florida. She has two grandsons, Kristopher Pierce and Torie Savior. And a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Bessie's parents were the late Willie Cherry and Bessie Weaver of Colerain, North Carolina.
