thank you. that really helped. i had the name henry t in hand from phila directories but that was insufficient data.
another question has arisen.
data
1850 census
Mary A Eyre 50
Mary Eyre 23
Robert Eyre 21
Lydia Eyre 19
Emma Eyre 16
Hannah Eyre 14
Perryania Eyre 12
Elizabeth Eyre 10
Henry Lamb 26
Jacob Wagner 45
how do you solve the problem of no relationship data on census?
i've been plotting the people then looking for ties on other ancestry trees that pop up. trying to find living descendants who may have data not on census about family composition.
i found mary a eyre is mary a wagner and jacob is her brother, but i'm back 2 generations in her family tree and no lamb's show up.
is there a better method for looking for relationships than plotting as much data as you can find? most of the time they turn out to be boarders or servants.
