Surnames: Tarr, Goodbread
Seeking information about the two above-noted brothers, born in Maryland, who raised families In Philadelphia during that time period. Both were attorneys. Elihu was also a physician. I think both may have raised sons named Levin S. Tarr. Some data suggests there were two Levin Tarr men. Other data suggests only one man of that name. A man named Levin S. Tarr died in Brooklyn on 26 Feb 1879. Was his father Elihu or Augustus? Was Levin S. Tarr married to Anna M. Goodbread? Levin and Anna raised a family from about 1848 to 1862. Did they divorce? Anna seems to have lived with Thomas Wigfall of Bridesburg and had children after about 1863/1864. No evidence found to suggest that a Levin S. Tarr died about that time. It's very confusing. Is there anyone who can help me with this? Thank you for considering.
