I found the pension info on Ancestry.com (Civil War Pension Index). I get the impression that you haven't sent away for his, or for that matter the other brothers' COMPLETE pension files from the NARA. It's somewhat costly, $35 each when I did, but I think well worth the money.
My wife's side of the family had five (possibly six) family members in the Civil War, with one (the youngest) dying at Andersonville Prison. They weren't more than ordinary farm boys from Montgomery County but I gathered a great deal about their lives from these files.
Another troublesome area is in the spelling of the last name: WillingMIER, MYRE, MYER which can lead to mistakes in data entry and duplications before the era of computers (and even since).
Enjoy your day in Fishtown this Sunday..........it was a terrible war and they as well as all our veterans of wars deserve our thanks daily!
Good luck,
Frank
