Shortend his name to Henry and used that most of his life. He helped lay out Fennersville, which is the modern day Sciota PA, changed after 1870 to prevent confusion with a similar named Tannersville.

8 Mary A. age 27 born 1827 in PA; the census taker's mistakes with this family are many. The census of 1860 however resolves the contradiction showing her to be aged 37, thus born ca 1823.
