Hi ihope you can help me trying to find info on my gfather harry hays/hayes.i found he was born in pa 9-28-1895or 1894 as a young boy he went to live reuben wife amanda keiper as their gson. in 1900 pa census he worked as a servent.he was in morgan county wv woked on the rr,married cecil gross had two sons harry f/ howard g hayes .when he first went to morgan ,wv his name was spelled hays.later put e.i do not know where they were married .later he left the family moved to brooks county, holiday cove lived with charles ethel nixdorf.ethel j was his sister i think. he worked in a still mill.i found a ss178-14-9303.he died in 2-1966 .do you know who his parents were,what happened to them and what family were the keipers.some places his middle int is m then a.we are cherokee.my father used to tell us his gggfather was a idian chief.i found a picture of my father way back when pictures where post cards on the back it is addressed to a harry scott hayes in pa no town.when harry sr lived with the keipers they were in monroe ,pa.my dad died wondering where his dad went to.i am at a brick wall with this man.the names and dates are at times mixed up.sorry this is so long. thank you frankie825@comcast.net
