Hi, I am looking for any info on Benjamin Hall born about 1760. He came to the U.S. from Donegal, Ireland at age 16 (THIS WOULD MAKE IT ABOUT 1776) with a Aunt a Mrs. McGrady to meet other family. We believe his father's name was John but we don't know where he entered the country or any other family members names. We do know that he married a Mary (Catherin or Elizabeth) McGrady thought to be a distant relation through the Aunt.
They ended up settling in Northumberland Pa in the area of what latter became Armagn twp, Mifflin Co, Pa. He was a frontier ranger in the Rev. War and a farmer.
They had 8 known sons: James/Mary Jenks, Benjamin/Mary Gladney Ward, William/?, Thomas/?, Robert/Betsy Silverthorne , Johnson/ Mary Earliewine, John/Mary Polly Kelly, Henry/Mary Fertig.
Benjamin died in 1848 in Pa and we know his wife died before him. Do you have any info on this Benjamin Hall in you tree or have you run across him in your research? Please contact me if you think he might be in your line. Any help would be appreciated!
