Death, always an unwelcome visitor entered the house of Mr. W. Rice Sunday morning June 13 (1880), and took his companion (Betsy "Reed" Rice), with whom he had taken sweet counsel and walked to the house of God in company for many years. I think she had not quite reached the "three score and ten", yet a goodly number of years were given her. I hope some abler pen than mine may give you an extended obituary.
