Several Rice brothers came to McKean County,PA and Cattaraugus County, NY from Cortland County, NY in 1818. Most had large families and many of their offspring spent their lives in the area, a few remaining today. Somewhere out there should be family Bibles with helpful genealogical information. One is the Boardman Family Bible I copied and had placed on the Enchanted Mountains Genealogical Society (EMGS) site. Others may be with descendants of these brothers. I have a mystery to solve, so look around for one of these gems of the past and help me solve this problem!
