I have found John, his wife Eleanor and 3 year old daughter named Lila/Leila in the 1880 census. John is a blacksmith and was born in Canada as were Eleanor and Lila. The family moved back to Canada between 1880 and 1884 but there is no trace of Lila. Might she have died in Pennylvania? I think they were enumerated in Kendall Creek. Does anyone have death records for this area?
