Thank you! That's a wonderful help! I guess my next question is...what death info is available for Abel's brothers, Mathias and David? I was under the impression that they had moved away from the area. From what I've been able to learn, David died in 1844 unmarried, and Mathias died in Elmira, NY in 1854 (this from another researcher...all undocumented!).

My husband is a descendant of the brother who moved to California, Orrin/Orin. He lived in San Jose and died there in 1882.
