HELP!!
I am seeking the birth parents of Jean Marie Davis who was born July 28, 1920 or 21 in Luzerne, Pennsylvania. Baby Jean Marie's birth parents _____ Downs and Margaret ______, not married at the time. They later married and tried to seek custody of Jean.

She was adopted by Frank and Estelle Marie (nee Conner?) Davis in Avoca or Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne, Pennsylvania, we think 1920 or 21 -- unsure. It is my understanding that when birth parents surname Downs tried to seek custody, the Davis's moved to Long Beach, Los Angeles County, California abt 1928 when Jean was abt 7. She then grew up in Long Beach, CA.

She is still living, and we her family would like to trace our heritage and know the biological family.
