I came across this while seaching a database at the New England Historical Genealogical Society. It is not my Moran family but there is biographical information that may be useful to other researchers.
PATRICK MORAN
$5 Reward. OF PATRICK MORAN, of Westport, parish of Westport, county Mayo, son of Edward Moran and Bridget Conners, townland of Drimirdee, who sailed from Glasgow, Scotland the 19th of February, 1859; when last heard from, about eight months ago, he was in Fortress Monroe, Va. His father and mother, his sister, Honor McHale, and her husband, Dominick McHale, are in Pittston, Pa. His sister Honor will pay five dollars reward to any person who will give any information of his whereabouts. Any information will be thankfully received by his father and mother, who are desirous of hearing from him, in care of Dominick McHale, Pittston Ferry, Luzerne County, Pa.
