Some relatives of mine went to Pennsylvania to Wales around 1847 , from the slate quarries of Caernarfonshire .
I cannot find much trace of them , but I wonder if anyone is descended from them or has some knowledge.
The eldest was William Evans, b 1781 . (His wife had died prior to migration) . Despite his age , I think he became a quarry overseer .
