On 21 Aug 1804, In Lancaster Co., he married Margaret Urey, b. 1770-1773, Lancaster Co., PA.

They had 3 sons and 2 daughters. Descendants include 17 Gr-Gr-Grandchildren born in the late 1890s-1942.
