Mrs Caroline Koester Rosar, 62, wife of Jacob Rosar, and a well-known Scranton resident, died this morning at home, 541 E Elm St, after a brief illness. St Mary's Assumption Church & active in Altar & Rosary Society. Survived by her husband; a daughter Marie; two sisters, Mrs Jacob Michaely & Mrs Anna Schmidt; and a brother Nick Koester.

Mon 13 Jul 1936; Funeral tomorrow with Requiem Mass in St Mary's Assumption; St Mary's (#5) cemetery.
