I descend from a Michael Burns (though not your Michael J Burns). My Michael comes from County Mayo, Ireland, was born ~1838 and immigrated likely in 1866. He was married to Anna (Hannah), had at least six children: Mary J., Catherine, John, Elizabeth, Margaret and Anna and likely had a brother, Luke. The family lived in Scranton from at least 1870 onward. Also, Mary J. was born in England, though all the other kids were born in PA.
