Would there be any additional paperwork involved in a second marriage in 1905 that would show the persons first marriage was terminated by divorce or death? The first marriage was in 1880, so there wouldn't have really been a state document that would have come into play in regard to a second marriage. Since the second marriage doesn't involve any full blood relatives, I don't want to spend money on a record unless it might give me an idea of what happened to the first marriage.
