I am getting together with one of my cousins in July to document more of our father's lives. Until then ... what I can tell you is that my father and his siblings felt lucky to all stay together (there were 8 of them!)

My father and his siblings were all VERY dedicated to the Catholic faith. I suspect a result of their upbringing at the orphanage.

I know that Russian was one of the languages spoken. I have two Aunts (now deceased) who met their husbands (My uncles, of course) at the orphanage when they went to volunteer. I believe monthly. Here is a photo that I thought you might enjoy - they obviously had a music program :)
