My grandparents Dominick and Mary came from Italy sometime around 1906. They had 6 children all born in PA. I was told there was a fire and all the birth records were destroyed. Can anyone tell me if this is so? Oldest child is James b. 9/9/1912. Dominick died in 1918. In 1920 I was told the house burnt down and the family left. Other than the 1920 Census and a WWI draft card, I can't find any other records of the family in PA.
