Waynesburg- Alice Hendershot, 59, of Waynesburg, RD 5 (Hargus Creek), died at 7:20 A. M. Sunday, Aug. 5, 1979, in Greene County Memorial Hospital.
Born April 13, 1923, in Wetzel County, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Okey Dee and the late Massie Cross Hendershot.
She spent the past 36 years in Center Township, where she was a farmer and a member of the Willow Grove Independent Baptist Church.
She is survived by a brother, Gareald Ervin Hendershot of Industry, Pa.; and five sisters, Mrs. Laura Fordyce, Pine G????, W. Va., Mrs. Bonnie Starkey and Mrs. Kenneth (Florence) Wright, both of Jacksonburg, W. Va., Mrs. Donley (Mabel) Barr of Smithfield, W. Va., and Mrs. Robert (Bernice) Huggins, Wileyville, W. Va.
She was preceded in death in death by three brothers, Hershel, Hartzell, and Ray, and sister, Genevive Hamilton.

Hendershot- Friends of Alice Hendershot 56, of Waynesburg RD 5, who died Sunday Aug. 5, 1979, will be received from 7 to 9 P.M. Monday and from 2 to 4 P.M. and 7 to 9 P.M. Tuesday at the Robert L. Lantz Funeral Home, Rogersville. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1 P.M. Wednesday with Rev. William Roupe officiating. Burial will be at Oakmont Cemetery, Waynesburg.
