Here is my Mother's genealogy as far as I know so far. My GGGGgrandparents were George and Elizabeth Peck Bishop. I knew the parents of Elizabeth were Corad and Catherine Peck. I've recently learned that the father of Catherine was Israel Friend. Conrad Peck1 and Catherine Friend Peck were among some of the first settlers in Bedford County, PA. (now Fulton Co.). They had lost much, including children, to Indian attacks. They were some of the Founders of Tonoloway Primitive Baptist Church in 1752. Early Church members had to have Sentries posted at the doors in case of attack. Israel Friend is my GGGGGGgrandfather. My other GGGGGGgrandfather is the Rev. Joseph Powell, 1st. Pastor of Tonoloway Church from 1765 until his death in 1804. Rev. Joseph Powell and Rachel rose Powell were the parents of Mary, who married Jacob Bishop. They were the parents of George Bishop.
