I almost forgot, Gettysburg College has an extensive microfilm collection, located in the lower level, of Adams county newspapers. If a person in lived in Adams Co. and moved to Franklin Co. they will usually carry the Franklin Co. Obit.

If you have Ancestry.com you should always check the Adams Co. newspapers for Franklin Co. Obits.
