I am working backward in time from my gg-grandmother Edith Sleaster, who was born to Emanuel Sleaster and Eleanor Bodell in Etna Green, IN, according to her death certificate.

Emanuel had a sister Catherine and a brother Jacob, and their parents were David and Elizabeth Slechter/Sleichter, and they are buried in Etna Green. David and Elizabeth were born in PA in 1799 and 1789, and they lived in Liberty, Hardin, OH from 1850ish - 1860ish.
