Hello: I am in possession of a diary written in 1931 by a student at the Lutheran Seminary in Gettysburg, and am trying to identify him. He notes in his diary that he assisted in the re-dedication of the church in Fort Loudon on Sept 20 1931, and gave a little speech at the ceremony. If anyone would be willing to look up the Fort Loudon newspaper for Sept 21 and 22 to see if his name is given, I would greatly appreciate it. I would like to see this diary go to his family, if I can identify him. I know his girlfriend was Isy (Isabel, Isabella) and that he lived near Chambersburg when he was not at school. It is a great little diary, and I think his family would appreciate it. I have access to a large number of databases and other records, and would be happy to exchange favors if anyone is able to help.
Best wishes
