I am looking for descendants of James Shoup and Sarah Gross of Franklin County, PA. James would have been born about 1821 and Sarah about 1819. They had at least 5 children, who in 1860 were Anna,6; E (female),3; M (male),9; M (female) 1; and Sarah,16. I believe there was an older daughter, Catherine, who was my great, great grandmother. She married William Burkholder and, after he died, William Gelwicks. I have to think she was married a third time for her gravestone reads Catherine Rankin.
