The Peter Colley Tavern is the one of which I am thinking.
Peter was the father of Hannah Colley who married Abraham Brown. They lived in the Georges Twp. house along with their son, Peter Colley Brown (m. May Huldah Lawrence),who was my great-grandfather. His son, my grandfather, as well as my mother (b. 1914) and two siblings were born in that house.
I passed by the tavern often when I was attending California State College back in the '70's. At one time, an archaelogical dig was in progress. I am wondering where I could find notes concerning the results.
