Don't know for sure, but looks like we might have a connection.

I have an Ellen Amanda PAGE (b.1852) who married Arthur HEDGES (1848-1909)
I have Arthur's parents as:
James P. HEDGES (1817-1899)
Sara A. ?? (1820-1907)

The 1850 census shows a James Hedges (age 33), cabinetmaker living in Uniontown, Fayette Co., PA with wife Elizabeth (age 30) and children: Joseph (8), Jane (6), James (4) and Arthur (2).

I haven't spent any time on confirming this info, as it is not in my direct line. But would be happy to share information.
