What fun it is looking up info on families named Johnson, NOT!!!! And I have more than a few of them in the family tree!

Seeking any info on Jesse Stricklin Johnson/Johnston, born August 19, 1893 in Normalville. Married to Ada Lenora Johnson, born August 1, 1896 in Mill Run.

Jesse's parents were Andrew Johnson/Johnston born January 25, 1844 in Columbia, PA and his mother was Nancy Catherine Stricklin, born about 1848 in Fayette County.

I have Andrew's parents as William Johnson/Johnston, born 1790 in Fayette County, and Margaret Davison of Westmoreland County.

Nancy Catherine Stricklin's parents were Jesse Stricklin born about 1821 in Fayette County, died February 1895 in Fayette, and Mary E. also born about 1821 in Fayette County.

Now to the other Johnson line - Ada Lenora Johnson born August 1, 1896 in Mill Run, died November 19, 1968 in Normalville. Her parents were Jessy G. Johnson, born March 1878 in Springfield Township, PA, married Lillian E. Shearer May 22, 1896 in Mill Run. Jesse's parents were Samuel K. Johnson and a Margarite.

I show Lillian Shearer's parents as William Shearer and a Kate ?
