I am researching the 16th Division Pa Militia area during the War of 1812 which included Beaver, Butler, Crawford, Mercer, Venango, Warren and Erie Counties. I am attempting to put together the regiments, companies plus where and when they served. I am also attempting to identify the men who served in the regular U.S. Army such as the 22nd U.S. Infantry which recruited heavily in the area.
