YOCHIM, Elizabeth A Lillie
Elizabeth A. (Lillie) Yochim, eighty-six, 451 E. 9th, died Thursday after a long illness.
She was a charter member of St. Benedicts Auxiliary, and a member of the Rosary Society of St. Marys Church, St. Vincents College Auxiliary, St. Vincent Hospital Auxiliary, the Ladies Catholic Benevolent Association and the Oblate Society of St. Benedict.
Her husband, John B. Yochim, died Oct. 28, 1948, and she was also preceded in death by a sister, Emma T. Brugger, and brother Charles H Brugger.
Survivors include two sons, Rev. David Yochim, O.S.B., of St. Vincent College, Latrobe, Pa., and Adolph F. Yochim, Erie; two daughters, Mrs. Russell J. Gildea and Mrs. William J. Shea, Erie; nine grandchildren, Neal and Carlton Shea, Barbara, John, Joseph, William and Stephen Yochim and Carol and David Gildea, all of Erie; and two brothers, Rev. Linus Brugger, O.S.B., and Boniface A Brugger, Erie.
Friends may call at the A. Brugger and Sons Funeral Home, 449 E. 9th, Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. and attend services there Monday morning at 10:30 followed by Solemn Requiem High Mass at St. Marys Church at 11. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery.
