From what I was told of my family history, Jacob Steis had a brother John, and both moved from Germany to Ridgway, PA. Both had extensive land holdings.

I'm not sure how many Great Grandfathers back they are, but I am descended out of John's line. My Great Grandfather was Carl Edward Steis, my Grandfather was Clyde Joseph Steis and my Dad was Jared "Jerry" Steis.
