Frank and Mary Schell - PA to WI

I am doing research for my sister in law. Her great-grandparents were Frank and Mary Schell. According to census records, Frank was born in Italy and Mary was born in Pennsylvania. The family lived in Darby, Delaware Co., PA in 1910. IN the 1920 census, they were living in Milwaukee Co. in Wisconsin. I am wondering if anyone knows more about this family? I am having a hard time finding more information on them, particularly Frank and Mary's DOB's/Parents/death dates.

I'd be guessing the Elas and Alice GRAY mentioned are one and the same with a misspelling of the given name.

We connected before a while ago. Looking for Esposito, Grecztor, or maybe Sopelick. Barenbaum maybe? I don't know just trying it all. It's Joerugman but also Jtrnsfrmr @ aol.com. Also, not sure if we connected but Baily Road in Lansdowne, for nurses, or a home for unwed mothers in the 20s perhaps 30s. My mom was sent away which seems like this place. Was it at that point a place for unwed kids?

Sometime around 1975-1980 I lived in an apartment complex in Secane that had on its property an old and small cemetery. I used to enjoy walking and looking at the old stones.

The cemetery was removed and if memory serves me correctly a playground for the complex was put in.

I have come to regret that I didn't record this cemetery before it was demolished. (I was very young and the thought never even occurred to me.) Does anyone know where the bodies were reburied and what happened to all the gravestones?

Would there be any newspapers articles, or county documents available concerning this?

I'm pretty sure Andrew was born in Ireland on April 13, 1840 (possibly Londonderry, Ireland. Matilda's last name I believe was Shaw with a brother named William. Wilhelmina Bergdoll was my ggrandmother. She and Andrew had other children named Jacob (my ggrandfather), Anna and Charles D,
I think Andrew had a brother named John and his father was possibly Judah. See New York Census of 1860.
I have some very old pictures, but I'm not sure who is who.
I went to the Cemetary you mentioned, but it is in bad condition. I have since learned that Wilhelmina's Grave number is 527. Since they were buried, the church was sold. I don't know who has the records.

familysearch.org Philadelphia marriages has a record for Socrates Pahebes who married Lillian Weinwurm in 1928

In the 1940 census Socrates and Lillian are living with her parents Joseph and Leopoldine. His name is spelled Pabedes and is listed as age 38. No children listed

Looking for information on Sockeatis Pahides. 1920 census Markus Hook District lists Sockeatis Pahides age 19 as a cook at Peter Pahides restaurant. Birthplace was Greece. Trying to find out if he had a daughter Rula (not sure of spelling, sounds like Rula) His year of birth is about 1901. Rula would be about 56 or 57. Her half sister Jacqueline is searching for her. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Jacqueline is from Pennsylvania as well

If your Madeline (Megs) lived in Upper Darby, PA in the 60's & 70's, was active in local Democratic politics, had a daughter named Diane, and cooked up a storm on Sundays, then we knew the same Madeline. Her husband, Jim, was a house painter. I would imagine she has passed on at this point. I would love to re-establish contact with Diane, her daughter. Do you know how I might do.that? Let me know. Lamey/Leamy families in Delaware County

I have been researching Obern Lamey who was son of Elizabeth and Townsend Lamey. Townsend Lamey/Leamy first shows up in 1810 in Upper Darby township and he died sometime between 1840 and 1850. Elizabeth shows up in the 1850 census. Elizabeth died Feb. 1865. An earlier obit I found in 1838 of Rebecca Leamy, daughter of Townsend Leamy, so my guess is this branch of Leamy changed name to Lamey.

he and Willie O Meeks another brother are buried in Riverview Cemetary in Charlottesville, Virginia

The $1,000 estate of Erwin F. Ruehl, late of 2444 Mansfield Avenue, Drexel Hill, who died on Februaray 28, is left to his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth I. Ruehl, according to his will.

I think Staney was born after 1940.

I am trying to compile a complete family tree of the Jones family originally from Corsham Wiltshire England.

George Bennett her husband was born in Pennsylvania abt 1910 but I do have a death date or place other than before Phyllis died.

Phyllis was the daughter of Edgar Hansard Jones.
Year of immigration: Edgar 1912, naturalized 1918; Henrietta, Phylis and Kenneth 1914; Anna 1912.

If this is the same gentleman, he is the father of John F. Howe who is married to Barbara Ann Howe formerly of Drexel Hill, PA. They are still in the area but I have lost touch with them and need to contact them. I hope this may be of help. Also, I remember John F. Howe, Sr. to be hard of hearing and spoke with quite a loud voice!

My grandmother, Agnes Stedal (Stadel), is listed there in the 1930 census. She was originally from Nanticoke PA. I have contacted the school and they do not have any of the old records from that time frame.
